Choir Council

Choir Officers and Leadership team meant to help with the day to day activities of the choir. All are welcome to apply, make sure to read the descriptions.

The UHS Titan Chorus Council is a group of students who oversee the major operations of the choir. They work with each other, Mr. Anderson, and the Parent booster club to help keep students updated on all things going on. Below you will see the different jobs on the council and how many students are needed. To apply, follow the link at the bottom of the page. Choir President

Chloe Begey

The Choir President is the main liaison between the choir and Mr. Anderson and the Parent Booster club. The President has to be able to make decisions, answer questions, and present to groups and Mr. Anderson. They are a leader in every scenario.  

Requirements: Must be an 11th or 12th grader and have good standing with all classes. No insubordination or violent referrals.

Katie Hulette-Logistics

The Choir Vice-Presidents are a group that works to support the President. They work closely with the President to handle all aspects of the job. The VP will help the President to make decisions for the good of the choir. The VP must organized, self motivated, and a good public speaker. 

Requirements: This position is for 10th or 11th Graders in good standing with all classes and no referrals.

Choir Administrators

Malina Ongkeo and Mya Eggert

The Choir Administrator does all of the behind the scenes organizing, such as (Uniforms announcements. Choir Administrators need to be organized and good at problem solving. They also need to know how to measure for uniforms. 

Requirements: This position is for all grade levels. No Referrals, and must have good standing with all classes.

Program Manager

Adriana Isabella

The Choir Program Manager is in charge of all visual aspects of performances and events. They work closely with the Administrator to make sure everyone is in compliance with performance attire requirements. They are in charge of decorating and setting up the stage for events and performances and have a keen eye for small details. 

Requirements: Any students can apply. Must have no referrals and be in good standing with all classes.

Class Manager

Every Choir class will have a Class Manager. Class Managers are responsible for helping class run smoothly. They help with warm-ups, stretches, attendance, and overall classroom duties. 

Requirements: Any student can apply for this position. Applicants must have no referrals, and be in good standing with all classes.

Choir Secretary/ Librarian

Sophie Kendall

Works with Class Librarians and students who help to keep binders, and music organized. They are responsible for making sure everyone has the right music in each class. They are also responsible for collecting music after used and filing it away. They also assist Class Managers with daily task.

Requirements: Any student can apply for this position. Applicants must have no referrals, and be in good standing with all classes.

Section Leaders

Each Class will have section leaders. Section leaders will be in charge of helping their sections learn their music in rehearsals. They are also responsible for make sure students are staying on task during rehearsals. They help the Class Manager by providing extra eyes and ears during rehearsals and performances in order to keep behaviors in line.

Requirements: Any student can apply for this position. Applicants must have no referrals, and be in good standing with all classes.

Choir Office Aide

The Choir Office Aide is the class Organizer. They work a lot like a school office aide. They make copies, run errands, and general house keeping items for the group. They assist all of the other officers by helping with organization and daily tasks.
